MEET CHRISTINE
FOUNDER + PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Thanks to her years of experience working as an attorney in Chicago, as well as her time as a senior designer for a leading Cincinnati construction, design and real estate company, Christine Kommer brings an exceptionally organized approach to CKI.
A mother of four active kids, Christine knows well the value of a functional home, and approaches every space with intention and a sincere desire to tell her clients’ unique personal stories through memorable aesthetics that illustrate a life well lived.
A Cincinnati native, when Christine is not on a job site or with a client, you can likely find her in her garden. She is also a part-time yogi and needlepointer, and she enjoys sharing her love for all things home through her philanthropic work with New Life Furniture Bank. She is married to her college sweetheart, Josh, who she met as an undergraduate at Duke University, and their family also includes an energetic - but lovable - Vizsla and a sweet rescue puppy.
MEET CLAIRE
SELECTIONS COORDINATOR + DESIGN ASSISTANT
Claire joined CKI with a love for creativity and an eye for detail. Growing up in Cincinnati, she was always drawn to the way spaces can tell a story and make people feel at home.
Claire studied urban planning, design, and organizational leadership at the University of Cincinnati and built leadership experience through Student Council and her involvement in community projects in urban planning and real estate. Prior to joining CKI, Claire further explored her love of design as a West Elm design consultant where she discovered the joy of collaborating with others and helping creative ideas take shape.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys exploring new cities, cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds, and spending time outdoors at local parks with friends. She’s always on the lookout for new Mexican restaurants and enjoys discovering cozy coffee shops and hidden spots around town.

MEET CHELSEA
SELECTIONS COORDINATOR + DESIGN ASSISTANT
Chelsea's interest in design as well as her appreciation for being a part of the special process of bringing her client's interior visions to life is what led her to join the CKI team.
Chelsea moved to Cincinnati to pursue a BS in Design at the University of Cincinnati, DAAP, where she initially focused on fashion. While her studies ignited her love for creativity and design, she soon learned that interiors were her passion. Prior to CKI, Chelsea worked for a production home builder in their selections department and then went on to pursue an Interior Design Certificate through the UCLA-extension program.

While away from the office, Chelsea enjoys traveling with her husband, catching movies on discount movie night and trying new and local eateries with friends. Chelsea can also be found relaxing at home with her three pups, her cat and her foster dog(s).
